"Sometimes the answers come in dreams, but more often, it’s the questions that find their way into my sleep. For six nights in a row the dreams were the same....

"In the dreams, I’m in Portland, Oregon (I don’t know why). I’m sitting in the outside patio at the Pazzo Bar at Washington Street and Broadway. In front of me are servings of dried apricots and warm bread with Rossini Blue Cheese and fresca verde goat cheese wrapped in herbs. I had just opened a bottle of Chardonnay from one of the Willamette Valley wineries when I heard someone behind me call my name."
